Our Mission: Global Psychological Support for All
Mental Health is a right, not a luxury.
Our Vision
PSY S.O.S. focuses on providing psychoanalytic care to the community, recognizing mental health as a fundamental right.
Since 1910, Freud envisioned a psychoanalysis that transcends barriers, opening the door to those who suffer regardless of social class. In his work New Paths in Psychoanalytic Therapy, he expressed:
Freud envisioned the creation of sanatoriums where doctors trained in psychoanalysis would provide free treatments. He imagined a future where these healing approaches would be accessible to men, women, and children, helping them withstand adversity and avoid falling into despair.
This vision, besides being forward-looking, highlights an essential ethic: psychoanalysis should not discriminate based on socioeconomic status. While institutions may vary in format, psychoanalysis can adapt to meet the needs of the people, reaffirming the commitment to provide accessible assistance to those seeking relief amid suffering.
With over 25 years of international experience in clinical and corporate settings, Lorena Salthu is a psychological counselor (Argentina) with specializations in Psychoneuroimmunology (Spain and the U.S.), psychoanalysis at EFPP (France), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
